Installing the game and starting your first session

Battle Room Empire is in development for iPhone and Android and is not yet publicly available. When public builds ship, this article will carry current install steps per platform; until then, the playtest list is the way to get access early.
What first launch will involve
- No sign-up forms. The game creates an anonymous player account automatically so your progress can be saved online. No name, email, or phone number is collected for it.
- Camera permission is requested when you start an AR battlefield — it’s how the game sees your floor. You can play non-scanned modes without it. See camera permission and privacy.
- Notification permission, if requested, is optional and only used for gameplay reminders you’d expect.
