Review status: this document is a working draft published for transparency while the game is pre-release and nothing is sold or operated commercially through this site. It will receive qualified legal review before commercial launch, and material changes will be dated above.
1. What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of battleroomempire.com and, when public builds exist, the Battle Room Empire game operated by Tait Absher. Using the site or game means you accept these terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
Game accounts are created anonymously and automatically. You're responsible for the device the account lives on. Optional sign-in linking, when it ships, will carry its own notices. You must meet your platform's minimum age requirements to use the game.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the game and site for their intended purpose. The game, its content, and this site remain our property or that of our licensors. See also the EULA.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- cheat, exploit, automate play, or interfere with other players' experience;
- reverse-engineer, modify, or redistribute the game or its services except where law permits;
- abuse, overload, or attack the site, game services, or other users;
- violate the community guidelines in any connected community space.
5. Virtual items and purchases
Nothing is currently sold. When purchases exist, virtual items and currency will have no real-world monetary value, will not be redeemable for cash, and will be governed by the platform store's purchase terms plus the refund policy. Purchases will never be required to win.
6. User content
If community submission features launch, content you submit stays yours; you grant us a license to display it where you asked us to, and you can request removal. Nothing is published without your consent.
7. Availability and changes
The game is in development. Features may change, and online services may be interrupted, modified, or discontinued. We'll communicate material changes honestly via the news page.
8. Termination
You can stop using the game at any time and delete your data in-app. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, proportionally to the violation.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The site and game are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. AR play involves physical movement in real space — read and follow the AR safety guidance. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Governing law and dispute-resolution terms will be finalized with qualified legal review before commercial launch and stated here.
