AR safety guidance
Last updated: July 16, 2026
Battle Room Empire is played in real space: you'll move around while your attention is on a screen. This guidance is short and practical. Please actually read it once.
Set up a safe space
- Play indoors, in spaces you control. Never near roads, balconies, stairs, water, or sources of heat.
- Walk your space once before playing, screen down. Note furniture edges, cables, and anything that moves.
- Keep a clear walkway. You don't need an empty room — you need a predictable one.
- Move fragile things out of arm's reach of your play area.
Stay aware while playing
- Look up regularly — make it a rhythm, not a reaction.
- Move deliberately. Fast, blind movement is bad for tracking and worse for shins.
- Mind pets and people. They move; your mental map doesn't. Glance up when either enters the space.
- Never walk backward without looking first.
Take care of yourself and the device
- Take breaks. Immersive sessions are more physical than they feel.
- Stop if you feel disoriented, dizzy, or uncomfortable. The empire keeps.
- Follow your device's heat and battery warnings.
Younger players
Supervise setup for younger players: choose and walk the space together, and set clear rules about where the battlefield ends. Pausing for real-world interruptions is always fine — teach that.
Longer practical guidance: Playing safely around furniture, stairs, pets, and other people.
